In preparation for the sale of my terrace I decided to fully renovate the 6 x 4m courtyard (a job I had been putting off for many years) as it was really letting the place down. Though small, it was a really difficult job and needed flexibility from all as issues were found and ways found to deal with them. A tradesman had begun the job and initially did great things but he disappeared once he realised how hard the remainder would be – at least we had a new fence and a lot of rubbish had been cleared out. I needed carpenters who would do a good job of a deck (which we had to keep close to the ground) and also who would go the extra distance and replace lots of old dirt with new quality soil for perimeter gardens. Luckily for me I found Phil and Connor and I have to say that they were my saviours on this job. They worked diligently and purposefully, always consulting as the deck progressed. Importantly they were clever as well as being good company. I would say they went beyond what we had originally discussed and the job was done beautifully and in the time they initially estimated. The only criticism I would make is their choice of music – it was totally appalling! Beyond that, I would recommend them to anybody seeking a job they will be very satisfied with from two very genuine and personable tradesmen.
